Cupertino

For those who are interested in how the city of Cupertino started and where its historical roots lie, the Cupertino Historical Museum is the place to visit. On display are stories of how the now booming town had started off as a small postal establishment. Exhibits denoting the rich development of this small town into one of the most affluent neighborhoods on the United States’ West Coast can be discovered throughout the museum. The museum is located in the Quinlan Community Center and is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday.

Gaze at the stars under the dome at the Minolta Planetarium located inside De Anza College. Visitors can explore the formations of stars and marvel at the Little Dipper and Big Dipper in the comfort of an indoor facility. The Minolta Planetarium is the second largest indoor star theater in all of Northern California. Exciting and mesmerizing laser shows are also conducted throughout the day and are a popular attraction at the Planetarium. A grassy picnic area is also offered just outside the indoor star projection theater.
